Exhibition of equipment made in Iran in April

The fourth exhibition of equipment made in Iran will be held April 24th to 27th, 2016, at the Tehran International Exhibition.  Science-based companies will be present.


According to Mehr reporting agency, Mahmood Sheikh Zeineddin, the innovation and commercialization assistant to the scientific and technological deputy of the president, regarding the fourth Exhibition of equipment and laboratory material made in Iran, said: The fourth occurrence of this exhibition, as an example and a successful technological model in the country in enticing demands and marketing Iranian science-based products, will be held during the final week of April 2016 in Tehran international exhibition.

He added:  considering the experience of holding the last three occurrences of this exhibition, we have reached relative stability in the process of holding this exhibition as a political tool and a support model for technological expansion of science-based company’s business active in the production of laboratory material with advanced technologies.

Elimination of financial assistance to products with level four technology

Mentioning that in the fourth occurrence of this exhibition, financial assistance does not apply to products with level four technologies, he said: since the third exhibition, the technologies of products offered by companies, have been rated.

He continue d: This year, products of companies with level for technologies, and received up to 10% financial assistance, can only be present in this year’s exhibition; the objective of this action is to see companies move toward products with more complex technology.

Registration for this exhibition began December 21

The innovation and commercialization assistant to the scientific and technological deputy of the president said: The official activity of the fourth occurrence of this exhibition started on Tuesday, December 21st, with the registration of companies to attend the exhibition, and since this date, companies began registration for attending this exhibition using the comprehensive system of the exhibition.

He mentioned:  After registration, evaluation for confirming the legitimacy, and technology evaluation began.  Teams and groups of experts started rating the applicant companies.

Quantitative and qualitative growth of the fourth exhibition

Sheikh Zeineddin declared: Using the feedback of these company’s customers is one of the policies of this exhibition.  The subject of standardizations and improving the quality of technologies that are offered in the exhibition are important issues of special attention.

He added: Timely delivery and carrying out company commitments are important issues considered as positive points for evaluating and validating companies and deciding whether to participate in the exhibition of the coming year, so that companies are more qualified upon entrance to the exhibition.

Mentioning that one of the successes of this exhibition is the volume of orders which has been growing exponentially over the past three exhibitions, Sheikh Zeineddin said: In the second exhibition we had about 750 billion tomans in pre-sales with 4,000 products offered by 200 companies, and in the third exhibition we saw these numbers almost double with 1,600 billion tomans in pre-sales with 8,000 products offered by 400 companies.

He continued: The level of purchase of universities did not fit the orders due to limitations, but we hope that with increases in credit and not purchasing similar foreign products, this problem will be solved.

The innovation and commercialization assistant to the scientific and technological deputy of the president said:  We hope that by improving product qualities, and increasing the technological activities of companies, these companies can play active roles in export markets.  Provisions for this are being provided.

The head of the fourth exhibition of equipment and laboratory material made in Iran, pointing to the fact that this exhibition has performed its role and duty effecting production of goods with advanced technology, asserted: Before this exhibition, most laboratory equipment were imported, and caused currency to leave the country.  But now science-based companies and technological  units have reached a level to compete with credible world brands, and supply the needs of domestic researchers.
